2D Animations is a series of images viewed one after the other in a very short time that creates an illusion of movement. This has been one of the oldest yet a very effective medium. 2D animation has helped to simulate actions and movements that give the user a realistic experience. To animate means to bring to life and communicate feelings through story telling. The use of other medium such as sound adds another layer of meaning.

Stages in the Development Process:

Stage1:
Collection of resources and the information about the project.
Stage2:
Review and analysis of the resources collected, study the reference style of animations. Evolve the right action plan that assures the best output.
Stage3:
Develop the rough story board keeping in mind all the above objectives. The story board will provide insight into the production layout; character designs, back ground, flow of the story and all the other key components of the animation.
Stage4:
As per the story board the team develops characters and background. The team studies reference from Model (Anatomy and Posing) Develops key Frames, In-betweens, Clean-up, Tracing, Colouring and Animation.
Stage5:
Composition and editing of the various scenes.
Stage6:
Composition of Music for various scenes.
Stage7:
Recording of professional voice for dialogues according to the approved script.
Stage8:
Integration of the animation composed with the other components such as voice, music and special effects for review.
Stage9:
Final out put ready to deliver on internet, CD or DVD after correction (If any).
